The vibrant people of Ibeju-Lekki came together today to celebrate the annual Community Day — a signature event that embodies the spirit of unity, progress, and collaboration among residents, the Community Development Committee (CDC), and the Local Government Authorities.

In his address, the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, commended the CDC for its steadfast dedication and impactful contributions to community growth and welfare.
“The crop of CDC Excos has done well in their collaborative efforts with the government as the impact is showing,” Hon. Olowa remarked. “We are profoundly grateful for this unwavering commitment.”
The Council Chairman further assured residents that his administration remains committed to sustaining inclusive governance and ensuring that the needs of the people remain a top priority.

In his goodwill message, Comrade Jabita Adeboye, Chairman of the Ibeju-Lekki CDC, lauded Hon. Olowa for his visionary and people-centered leadership, noting that the local government has recorded remarkable progress under his watch.
“You can count on our 100 percent support in every endeavor. United, we will continue to build a brighter future for Ibeju-Lekki,” Adeboye declared.
The celebration featured a colorful road show that drew hundreds of participants from various communities across the council area.
The three-day event will conclude on Saturday, November 8, 2025, with more activities showcasing the cultural pride and unity of the Ibeju-Lekki people.
