EKO HOT BLOG reports that the extension was confirmed on Friday in a statement issued by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu. She explained that the delays were caused by technical difficulties affecting the NYSC registration platform.
“The management of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has noted the difficulties being faced by some Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) in the ongoing registration for the 2025 Batch ‘C’ mobilisation. The longer-than-usual time it is taking some PCMs to complete registration is as a result of network issues,” Embu said.
She added that management regrets the inconvenience caused by the challenges and is working to ensure seamless registration for all applicants.
To ease the situation, the NYSC has extended the registration period by two days to allow affected PCMs to complete their process. According to the statement, the new registration deadline is now midnight of Tuesday, November 11, 2025.
Embu urged all applicants to remain patient while the NYSC’s technical team continues efforts to restore full system functionality.

“In view of this regrettable development, management has extended the registration period by 48 hours to enable our enthusiastic PCMs conclude their registration,” she stated.
The registration for Batch ‘C’ originally opened on November 4 and was scheduled to close on November 9, 2025.
