The Nigerian government and Poland have concluded high-level discussions aimed at strengthening trade, boosting investment, and expanding strategic cooperation between both nations, Eko Hot Blog reports.
According to a statement by the Director of Information in the Ministry of Finance, Mohammed Manga, the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr Wale Edun, on Friday received a Polish delegation led by Poland’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Africa, Wojciech Zajączkowski.

The meeting focused on expanding economic ties and identifying new areas of partnership. Mr Edun highlighted Nigeria’s improving economic landscape, driven by ongoing reforms, renewed investor confidence, and stronger macroeconomic indicators.
He encouraged Poland to explore investment opportunities across manufacturing, renewable energy, agriculture, mining, digital infrastructure, and defence technology.
Deputy Minister Zajączkowski reaffirmed Nigeria’s position as Poland’s top strategic partner in Africa and praised the Nigerian government’s economic reforms. He further expressed Poland’s readiness to deepen engagement through expanded private-sector partnerships, digital governance collaboration, and enhanced bilateral trade.

The discussions represent a significant step toward unlocking new areas of cooperation, strengthening diplomatic ties, and supporting mutually beneficial economic growth between Nigeria and Poland.
