The Federal Ministry of Education has dismissed a message circulating on social media claiming that schools across the country have been ordered to shut down from 24 November 2025, describing it as false and misleading.
Eko Hot Blog reports that in a statement issued by the Director of Press and Public Relations, Folasade Boriowo, the ministry said the purported directive did not originate from the Federal Government, the Federal Ministry of Education, any State Ministry of Education, or any recognised security agency.
