Sharing the platform with First Ladies of Lebanon and Syria, she applauded Qatar’s investments in education and stressed that no religion prohibits the education of girls. She reaffirmed that the Nigerian government remains fully committed to expanding educational access for every child.
“Everything begins with education,” she said. “We are pushing hard to strengthen our education system. Nigeria’s greatest asset is its people, and our youths continue to stand out globally in arts, education, fashion, film, agriculture, and more.”
Mrs. Tinubu also emphasized President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s belief that innovation and technology are the backbone of human capital development. She noted that digital literacy has become a powerful tool for Nigeria, helping to connect and empower millions.
“Technology has helped us reach more people, but it also presents challenges. Our young people use it in both positive and negative ways. That is why continued empowerment is essential,” she added.
The summit host, Sheikha Moza Bint Nasser, chairperson of Qatar Foundation, highlighted how education can transform lives by linking young people to emerging job opportunities.

Other global experts echoed the same sentiment: technology must always be guided by human values and ethical standards. They warned that innovations like artificial intelligence could become harmful if not grounded in humanity.
The 12th WISE Summit, which drew more than 150,000 participants worldwide, was held under the theme “Humanity.IO: Human Values at the Heart of Education.”
