In a bid to enhance service delivery and strengthen administrative efficiency, the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. (Engr.) Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, flagged off a comprehensive capacity-building workshop for management and junior staff of the council.

Eko Hot Blog reports that the training brought together personnel from various departments and focused on improving administrative competence, work ethics, communication skills, and modern approaches to public service delivery.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Olowa, represented by Mrs. Avoseh Senami Oluwakemi, Ag. Council Manager, emphasized the importance of investing in human capital.
“This training demonstrates our strong commitment to equipping our staff with the right skills to meet the increasing demands of our residents and support the district’s ongoing growth,” she said.
The Head of Administration and Human Resource Department, Mr. Sotubo Adeyemi Oladipupo, reaffirmed the council’s dedication to professional development.
“We will continue to organize more training programs to ensure that our officers remain competent, innovative, and well-prepared for future challenges,” he added.
Facilitators at the workshop stressed the importance of practical knowledge and up-to-date methods necessary for effective performance in a rapidly developing region like Ibeju-Lekki.
Participants expressed gratitude to the council for the opportunity, noting that the skills acquired would enhance their effectiveness and contribute to community development.
