National Security Adviser (NSA), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, on Sunday announced that he met with a United States congressional delegation visiting Nigeria on a fact-finding mission.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the meeting in Abuja followed earlier engagements between Nigerian officials and US policymakers in Washington, D.C.

According to Ribadu, the delegation was led by Mario Díaz-Balart and included members Norma Torres, Scott Franklin, Juan Ciscomani and Riley M. Moore. The US Ambassador to Nigeria, Richard Mills, also participated in the talks.

Ribadu said discussions centred on counter-terrorism cooperation, regional stability, and efforts to deepen the Nigeria–US strategic security partnership.
He expressed optimism that the engagement would strengthen mutual trust and reinforce joint commitments to peace and security across the region.
