Hon. Olanrewaju Ogundele continued his tradition of giving back to his alma mater as he led the Army High School Alumni, 1995 Set, to support the Army Barracks Primary School and Army Children Primary School during their Inter-House Sports Competitions held on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.
Eko Hot Blog reports that although Hon. Ogundele was represented at both events, several members of the 1995 set were physically present, providing encouragement, materials, and moral support to ensure the competitions were successful.

The yearly gesture, according to the schools’ management teams, has become a dependable pillar of support.
The head teachers of both schools openly commended Hon. Ogundele and his classmates for consistently prioritizing the welfare of the pupils and for backing the annual competitions.
They noted that the continuous involvement of the alumni has boosted pupils’ confidence and strengthened school spirit.
At the Army Children Primary School, the competition results added excitement to the colourful event. Green House and Yellow House tied for 1st place, while Blue House and Pink House tied for 2nd place, marking one of the most competitive editions in the school’s recent history.
Representing Hon. Ogundele, Mrs. Quadri Rukayat applauded the school leadership for their dedication and encouraged pupils to remain focused on their academic growth while also nurturing their talents.
She reminded them that talent becomes meaningful only when balanced with sound education.
All participating houses, invited schools, staff members, and parents received gifts as part of the appreciation for their involvement, further adding to the spirit of unity and healthy competition.
The highlight of the day came when the Commanding Officer of the 25 Support Engineer Regiment, Epe Military Cantonment, Lt. Colonel S. T. Enye, presented the overall trophy to Green House, his personal house.
The announcement sparked loud celebration across the field as pupils rejoiced, especially since all houses were acknowledged for their impressive performance and rewarded accordingly.
