Former Secretary to the Osun State Government, Moshood Adeoti, on Thursday evening hosted Governor Ademola Adeleke, his deputy, Prince Kola Adewusi, and senior officials of the state government and the Accord Party at his residence in Iwo.
The governor and his entourage were first welcomed by the Adeoti women group, who sang and praised both their leader and Governor Adeleke as they arrived.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that during a brief interaction with the group, Hon Adeoti, a former ally of ex governor Rauf Aregbesola, highlighted the vital role women play in political mobilisation. The women responded with songs expressing their support for the governor.
Governor Adeleke appreciated the women for their solidarity and later joined them in a celebratory dance as more political songs filled the atmosphere.
After the reception, Adeoti and the governor held a closed door meeting. They were joined by the deputy governor, Chief of Staff Hon Kazeem Akinleye, Secretary to the State Government Hon Teslim Igbalaye, Commissioner for Information Hon Kolapo Alimi, Commissioner for Political Affairs Dr Biyi Odunlade, Political Adviser Hon Muniru Raji and other senior government functionaries.
Both parties did not speak to journalists after the meeting.

Adeoti had recently resigned from the African Democratic Congress.
