Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, Director-General of President Bola Tinubu’s 2023 Campaign Council, has called on Nigerians to support the reelection of President Tinubu in 2027, citing the administration’s “commendable and far-reaching reforms.”
Eko Hot Blog reports that Faleke also serves as National Coordinator of the Presidential Coalition Council (PCC) established for Tinubu’s re-election, made the remarks during the launch of the PCC and a sensitisation exercise on the policies of the Tinubu administration in Oyo State. At the event, he was represented by Hon. Abiodun Mafe.

He urged party members to continue winning support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) and to promote the party’s record of good governance. Faleke encouraged voters to secure their Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVCs) and called on those without PVCs to register ahead of the 2027 elections.
“Remain steadfast, dispel fears, and work diligently. The APC will emerge victorious both at the national and state levels,” he said.
Hon. Abdullah Enilolobo, a member of the PCC team from Abuja, emphasised the strategic importance of Ibadan in Oyo State, noting that the city controls half of the state’s total votes. He praised Hon. Bakare for organising the launch using personal resources and for raising awareness of the Tinubu administration’s policies.

Enilolobo highlighted Tinubu’s economic interventions, recalling that Nigeria was on the verge of bankruptcy before his election in 2023. “Before President Tinubu assumed office, the nation was borrowing to pay salaries. Today, borrowing has reduced, the national minimum wage has increased, and allocations to states and local governments have quadrupled,” he said.
He further noted that the removal of fuel subsidies, the floating of the naira, and the implementation of a new tax regime have helped stabilise Nigeria’s economy and restore fiscal discipline.
The launch concluded with the presentation of PCC souvenirs to Hon. Bakare, who thanked the Abuja team for their support and praised Faleke’s leadership, recalling his role as DG of Tinubu’s successful 2023 presidential campaign.
