Lagos State Government has approved the disbursement of ₦103,700,000.00 (One Hundred and Three Million, Seven Hundred Thousand Naira) as housing loans to 225 beneficiaries in the Local Government Service for the fourth quarter of 2025.

Eko Hot Blog reports that the announcement was made during the fourth quarter meeting of the Local Government Staff Housing Loans Board on Thursday, 18th December, by the Permanent Secretary, Office of Local Government Establishments and Training, Mrs. Bibilomo Olushekun.
The quarterly meeting is part of the State Government’s continuous effort to support local government employees by providing access to affordable housing finance across the 57 Local Government Areas (LGAs) and Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) in Lagos State.
Mrs. Olushekun emphasised the importance of the scheme, stating, “The housing loan scheme is a critical welfare intervention aimed at enhancing productivity, job satisfaction, and the overall quality of life of local government staff.”
She also urged beneficiaries to use the funds responsibly and in alignment with the objectives of the programme.
She further disclosed that with the fourth quarter disbursement, a total of ₦331,700,000.00 (Three Hundred and Thirty-One Million, Seven Hundred Thousand Naira) has been provided to 762 beneficiaries across the first three quarters of the year.
“These consistent quarterly disbursements highlight our unwavering commitment to staff welfare and sustainable housing solutions for public servants in the Local Government,” she added.
