A pro-Tinubu support group, the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Vanguard (BAT Vanguard), has thrown its weight behind President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid, pledging to mobilise at least 10 million votes ahead of the 2027 general election.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the endorsement was announced in Abuja during the group’s end-of-year celebration and awards ceremony, where its convener, Sola Olofin, praised the President’s leadership style and reform agenda.

Olofin said the backing was based on what he described as Tinubu’s bold economic decisions and commitment to long-term national stability.

According to him, the administration has taken steps previous governments avoided, particularly in fiscal reforms, subsidy adjustments, infrastructure development and economic restructuring.
He added that improvements in security coordination and investor confidence point to a clear direction under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
Olofin declared that the group’s support for a second term was driven by the need for continuity, noting that reforms already underway require time to deliver full impact.

He also disclosed plans to reposition BAT Vanguard from a campaign-focused structure into a governance-support platform that would monitor government performance across key ministries and agencies.
He further revealed that the group plans to launch a nationwide social intervention programme from 2028, aimed at supporting vulnerable households with basic welfare needs.
Also speaking, APC chieftain Dr. O’Diakpo Obire said the 2027 election would be about completing an ongoing reform process, while the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, pledged collaboration with support groups to counter misinformation and promote public awareness of government achievements.
