The Women’s Wing of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kagoro Chiefdom, Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State, on Saturday held its final quarterly congress for the year.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the gathering attracted women leaders from the six wards of the chiefdom and was presided over by Dr Abdulmalik Durunguwa, who commended the impressive turnout.

Durunguwa encouraged the women to sustain their support for the APC-led administrations at all levels, citing visible developments recorded in Southern Kaduna and assuring them of greater dividends of democracy with continued backing.

Chairman of Kaura Local Government, Obadiah Sankyai, who hosted the event, applauded the women for their commitment and urged them to remain economically productive while supporting their families and communities.
He further tasked them with spreading awareness of the achievements of President Bola Tinubu’s administration and that of Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, ahead of the 2027 general elections.
APC Chairman in the local government, Sani Tachio, described women as the backbone of the party and urged them to intensify mobilisation efforts, formally welcoming new members who recently defected to the APC.

Other speakers, including Sports Development Commissioner, Prof. Benjamin Gugong, and House of Representatives member, Donatus Mathew, highlighted government achievements and called for unity as the party prepares for 2027.
The event climaxed with the endorsement of President Tinubu and Governor Sani for second terms, as party leaders pledged continued loyalty and support.
