Eko Hot Blog reports that the two-day outreach is scheduled to hold from Tuesday, 7th to Wednesday, 8th January, 2026, at the Epe Local Government Secretariat, starting from 9:00am daily.
The programme is designed to provide quality healthcare services and support to hundreds of beneficiaries across the community.
As part of the initiative, special eye screening for children will take place on 3rd and 4th January, 2026, to identify cases that may require surgical intervention.
This, according to the organisers, underscores the programme’s focus on restoring sight and improving the overall quality of life of young beneficiaries.
Services to be offered during the outreach include general medical consultations, mental health support, professional dental care, and comprehensive eye screening, all to be delivered by qualified and compassionate health professionals.
Speaking on the initiative, the Chairman of Epe Local Government, Hon. (Princess) Surah Olayemi Animashaun, FHTI, said the programme reflects her administration’s strong commitment to accessible healthcare.
“This outreach is part of our deliberate efforts to safeguard the health of our people and ensure that no resident is denied basic healthcare due to financial constraints,” she stated.
She further encouraged residents to take advantage of the opportunity, noting that early medical attention remains key to preventing avoidable health challenges.
“We urge our people to come out in large numbers and make good use of these free services for a healthier and stronger Epe,” the council boss added.
