Adelabu shared this message as part of his Eid-el-Fitr address titled “Let Our Sacrifices Strengthen National Progress.”

His remarks come at a time when concerns are rising over a possible nationwide power shortfall, following a reduction in gas supply to thermal power plants, which has already impacted electricity distribution to households and businesses.
Despite these challenges, the minister emphasized that the government’s initiatives are starting to show progress, with gradual improvements expected to significantly boost electricity supply in the near future.
He explained that practical steps are being implemented to ensure a more reliable and sustainable power system for homes, industries, and commercial activities.

According to him, the reforms under Tinubu’s administration are beginning to take effect, and Nigerians will soon experience their full impact.
Adelabu also highlighted broader achievements under the current administration, including recent international engagements in the United Kingdom aimed at strengthening investment, diplomatic ties, and economic collaboration.
He urged citizens to remain supportive of the government’s efforts, noting that while current challenges persist, they are part of the foundation for a stronger and more prosperous future.
