“I went through a depressive stage, and I went to jail. I suffered in a Nigerian prison,” Milli said. He added that he is still in the process of fully recovering both mentally and physically.
Addressing his recent appearance, he clarified that his focus on losing weight is purely for health reasons, not due to online critics or social media trolls. “I’m not bothered about trolls or negative comments,” he affirmed.

Milli also expressed appreciation for fellow artist Wizkid, noting that their past collaborations helped him financially and boosted his career.
“Wizkid tried for me; he gave me collaborations that made me feed my family,” he said, adding that Wizkid did all he could within the limits of his then-record label deal.
