Popular Nigerian music stars Wizkid, Burna Boy and Asake have been confirmed as headline acts for the 2026 edition of the Afro Nation Festival scheduled to hold in Portugal.
Eko Hot Blog gathered that the organisers announced the Phase 3 lineup in a post shared on X on Thursday, unveiling a mix of top Afrobeats, R&B, dancehall and amapiano artistes billed to light up the global music event.

Sharing the lineup poster, the organisers wrote, “Phase 3 is here. Legacy energy meets Afro Nation debuts. This is the sound of a summer taking shape.”

The three-day festival will take place from July 3 to July 5, 2026, at the popular Praia da Rocha Beach in Portimão, Portugal.
Grammy Award-winning singer Burna Boy is set to headline the opening night on July 3, alongside South African sensation Tyla.
Asake will lead performances on July 4, while Wizkid will close the festival on July 5 with a headline appearance.
American R&B star Kehlani and rapper Gunna are also billed as special guests for the event.
Other Nigerian artistes announced on the lineup include Olamide, Young Jonn, Darkoo, Wande Coal and Mavo.

The organisers further disclosed that early access ticket sales will begin on Thursday, February 5, at 10am (GMT).
Afro Nation is an annual celebration of African music and culture across the diaspora and is widely regarded as one of the world’s biggest music festivals.
