Eko Hot Blog reports that the humanitarian exercise, scheduled to hold on Thursday, February 6, 2026, is targeted at the aged, widows, widowers, and other vulnerable persons across various communities within Lekki LCDA.
The initiative forms part of the administration’s broader social intervention programmes aimed at improving the welfare of residents at the grassroots level.
In line with established practice, the distribution will be carried out through a door-to-door approach to ensure that the food items reach intended beneficiaries directly, especially those who may be unable to access central distribution points due to age, health, or other limitations.
Speaking on the initiative, the Kasali-led administration reiterated its commitment to inclusive governance and responsive leadership, noting that the monthly food distribution remains a key component of its people-centred agenda.
The programme has continued to provide timely relief to vulnerable residents while strengthening community bonds across the LCDA.
Residents have commended the consistency of the intervention, describing it as a practical demonstration of compassionate leadership and sustained commitment to the wellbeing of the people of Lekki LCDA.
