Announcing the result, the Returning Officer, Prof. Nkiruka Odoh of the University of Abuja, confirmed that Shekwolo obtained the highest number of valid votes and satisfied all constitutional requirements.
She subsequently declared him elected as Chairman of Kuje Area Council.
