Terrorists, suspected to be members of the notorious Lakurawa group, have launched a violent attack on a mosque in Dadinkowa town, Maiyama Local Government Area of Kebbi State, claiming the lives of at least four worshippers.
Eko Hot Blogs reports that the gunmen reportedly stormed the community heavily armed and moved directly to the house of worship while the congregation was gathered for prayers.

According to eyewitness accounts, the attackers opened fire indiscriminately inside the mosque, causing pandemonium and leaving several people with varying degrees of injuries.
Local sources confirmed that four individuals died instantly from gunshot wounds during the assault. Numerous others who were hit by bullets were rushed to nearby medical facilities.
While some victims are reported to be in critical condition, the exact number of the wounded has not yet been officially confirmed by state or medical authorities.
The Lakurawa group has recently become a significant security concern in parts of Northwest Nigeria, particularly in Kebbi and Sokoto states, where they have been accused of imposing taxes and carrying out violent raids on rural communities.
