The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has granted administrative bail to former Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the the former Speaker of the House of Representatives was questioned by the EFCC over allegations of financial misconduct.

Following his invitation by the EFCC, former Governor Tambuwal reported to the anti-graft agency’s Abuja headquarters on Monday to be questioned about the alleged fraudulent withdrawal of an estimated ₦189 billion during his tenure.
According to a senior official at the EFCC, Tambuwal was released after he provided the necessary information to investigators and met the conditions for his bail.
The EFCC’s spokesperson, Dele Oyewale, confirmed the development but did not provide any additional details.
