Eko Hot Blog reports that the presentation took place at the Council Secretariat in Agbowa as part of efforts by the administration of the Executive Chairman, Wale Raji Anomo, to strengthen institutional operations and enhance effective service delivery at the grassroots.
The provision of the vehicles is expected to enable councillors to carry out their responsibilities more efficiently, particularly in areas of legislative oversight, community engagement, and representation of their respective wards.
Speaking on the development, the Leader of the House, Hon. Momson, commended the chairman for the gesture, noting that the vehicles would greatly support the legislative arm in the discharge of its duties.
“This provision will greatly support members of the legislative council in carrying out our responsibilities effectively and in reaching our constituents across the wards.”
He added that the initiative would further strengthen the working relationship between the legislative and executive arms of the council while improving service delivery to the people.
With the availability of the vehicles, members of the legislative council are now better positioned to carry out official engagements and contribute meaningfully to developmental efforts within Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA.
