Barrister Saidat Olayinka Oladunjoye has been described as a symbol of purposeful leadership and administrative excellence, as stakeholders across Epe Federal Constituency call on her to consider a higher legislative role.
Eko Hot Blog reports that a seasoned legal practitioner, politician, and public administrator, Oladunjoye has built a reputation anchored on competence, integrity, and people-centered service, with a career spanning key sectors of governance in Lagos State and at the national level.

Her public service journey includes her tenure as Commissioner for Education under the administration of Babatunde Raji Fashola, where she played a pivotal role in advancing reforms that strengthened the state’s education sector.
“Her time in the education ministry brought reforms that improved standards and expanded access, making education a stronger tool for development in Lagos State,” a stakeholder noted.
She also served as Commissioner for Commerce and Industry during the administration of Akinwunmi Ambode, contributing to policies that enhanced trade, boosted economic activities, and attracted investment into the state.
Currently, she serves as a Federal Commissioner at the National Population Commission, representing Lagos State, an appointment made by Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In this capacity, she is involved in population data management, planning, and policy advisory critical to national development.
Beyond her government roles, Oladunjoye has demonstrated strong political leadership within the All Progressives Congress (APC), having served as Vice Chairman for Lagos East Senatorial District.
Her grassroots engagement and accessibility have remained key elements of her political strength.
Her earlier experience in the civil service, spanning the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Social Development, Ministry of Finance, and Public Works Department, alongside her time in the private sector as a Chief Executive, has further enriched her administrative and managerial capabilities.
Stakeholders also highlighted her humanitarian efforts, particularly her commitment to supporting vulnerable groups, empowering women and youth, and promoting inclusive development.
“She represents a rare blend of professionalism and compassion. Her leadership style is one that uplifts and creates opportunities for others,” another community leader remarked.
In view of her extensive experience and track record, stakeholders from Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA and across Epe Federal Constituency have urged her to step forward for greater service at a higher legislative level.
“The people deserve a representative who understands their needs and has the capacity to translate those needs into real development. Barrister Oladunjoye has consistently demonstrated these qualities,” they said.
According to them, her leadership acumen and deep connection with the grassroots position her as a strong candidate capable of driving policies that will enhance socio-economic growth, empower youths, and support women across the constituency.
As political activities gradually build ahead of the 2027 general elections, the call reflects growing confidence in her ability to deliver effective and people-oriented representation.
