According to the Caribbean leader, the talks covered a wide range of areas such as cultural exchange, educational opportunities, and joint efforts to address global challenges. He noted that the partnership would not only benefit both nations but also strengthen ties between Africa and the Caribbean region.
“We discussed educational opportunities, food security, agriculture, and overall development collaboration between the Caribbean and the African continent,” Drew said, adding that concrete outcomes are already emerging from the discussions.

Highlighting existing ties, the Prime Minister pointed out that many Nigerians have studied in his country, particularly in the medical field, and are now contributing to Nigeria’s healthcare system.
To further solidify the relationship, both countries have agreed to appoint special envoys who will work to deepen cooperation and ensure that the partnership delivers tangible benefits.
Drew also commended Tinubu’s leadership, noting that Nigeria continues to play a key role in strengthening relations with Caribbean nations, especially within the CARICOM bloc.
The development signals a growing effort to build stronger economic and cultural bridges between Africa and the Caribbean, with Nigeria positioned as a key partner in that engagement.
