“Produce my second baby. This is not good enough. I did not come to this hospital to be robbed of my baby,” she shouted, as those with her called for the arrest of the hospital staff over alleged baby trafficking.
An obstetric scan report dated March 2026, which surfaced alongside the video, indicated a twin pregnancy, noting two foetuses with different positions and genders.
However, the hospital’s medical director, Sunday Babajide, dismissed the allegation, insisting that only one baby was delivered. He attributed the confusion to an error in the scan result.
According to him, both the patient and her husband were aware of the situation during delivery, adding that the scan may have been inaccurate due to the stage of pregnancy at which it was conducted.

Meanwhile, the Lagos State Police Command has confirmed that it is investigating the incident.
Police spokesperson, Abimbola Adebisi, said the Command is working with relevant professional bodies to determine what transpired.
She added that the Area Commander in charge of the division is personally overseeing the case, assuring that findings will be made public.
Authorities have urged residents to remain calm as investigations continue.
