The Nigerian Meteorological Agency has forecast a mix of sunshine, cloudy weather and rainfall across different parts of the country from Monday to Wednesday.
Eko Hot Blog reports that in its latest weather outlook released in Abuja on Sunday, NiMet said northern states are expected to experience mostly sunny skies with patches of clouds throughout the forecast period.

The agency, however, predicted isolated thunderstorms and light to moderate rainfall in parts of Taraba, especially during the afternoon and evening hours on Monday and Tuesday.
For the North-Central region, NiMet projected cloudy weather with intervals of sunshine across the states within the zone during the period under review.
In the southern region, the agency said residents should expect cloudy conditions alongside thunderstorms and moderate rainfall in several states, including Lagos, Oyo, Osun, Ondo, Edo, Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwa Ibom and Cross River.
Other states likely to experience rainfall include Imo, Abia, Ebonyi, Anambra and Enugu.
NiMet warned that strong winds could accompany thunderstorms in some areas and advised residents to take necessary precautions.

The agency cautioned motorists against driving during heavy rainfall and urged residents to secure loose objects, disconnect electrical appliances during storms and avoid taking shelter under tall trees.
Airline operators were also advised to obtain weather reports from NiMet for effective flight planning and safety.
The agency further noted that temperatures are expected to remain high in several areas, leading to thermal discomfort.
It advised Nigerians to stay hydrated, wear light clothing and remain in well-ventilated environments.
