According to the state government, the exercise will provide ministries, departments, and agencies the opportunity to present detailed reports of projects, policies, and programmes executed under the administration’s THEMES+ development agenda.
The annual briefing is expected to give Lagos residents a clearer understanding of the government’s efforts across key sectors, including infrastructure, healthcare, transportation, education, security, environment, and economic development.
Officials noted that the event would also serve as a platform for direct engagement with citizens while showcasing the administration’s achievements through data, performance reports, and measurable outcomes.
The government described this year’s edition as particularly important because it comes ahead of the next general elections, allowing residents and stakeholders to assess the administration’s performance and future development plans for the state.

According to the organisers, the initiative reflects the government’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and inclusive governance.
The sessions will be streamed live across all official Lagos State Government social media platforms to enable wider public participation and access.
