The result was announced by Basirat Kamoru, who declared Adams the APC candidate for the Lagos State House of Assembly seat in the constituency.
Although Adams recorded wide victories across five wards, the election in Ward J was declared inconclusive.
Speaking after the exercise, Adams commended party members for their turnout and praised the APC leadership for conducting what he described as a free and fair primary election.
The lawmaker said the outcome reflected the wishes of party members and residents of the constituency.
“It is the will of the people. It’s democracy and the people have spoken today,” he said.
Adams disclosed that leaders of the party, including members of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC), local government chairmen, ward leaders and constituents, had earlier endorsed his re-election bid before the primary.

According to him, despite calls for his opponent to step down, the election was eventually held and party members overwhelmingly supported his candidacy.
The Majority Leader also pledged to deliver victory for President Bola Tinubu, the APC governorship candidate Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, as well as the party’s senatorial and House of Representatives candidates during the general election.
He further expressed confidence that the APC would record a strong performance in Eti-Osa during the polls.
