EKO HOT BLOG reports that the 18-year-old defender has been offered a new contract by PSG but is reportedly open to joining the Premier League club when his current deal expires at the end of June. Training compensation for the France youth international is expected to be slightly above £150,000.
According to BBC Sport, Arsenal have presented Mbemba with a clear development pathway, pointing to the progress of defender William Saliba, who spent time on loan at Marseille before establishing himself as a key figure in Mikel Arteta’s side.
The report added that Mbemba is keen on a move to the Emirates Stadium, having been impressed by Arsenal’s stability and recent success under Arteta.
Arsenal are believed to be planning a loan move to a European club for the youngster until January 2027. The arrangement would help him secure a work permit before making the switch to England.
Although naturally a centre-back, the Gunners reportedly see Mbemba as a long-term option at left-back due to his versatility and potential.
Mbemba is regarded as one of PSG’s most promising defensive prospects. He recently captained the club’s Under-19 sid
e to victory in the French Youth Cup at the Stade de France, further enhancing his reputation as one of France’s emerging talents.

Arsenal’s interest in the teenager reflects the club’s continued strategy of identifying and developing young players capable of becoming future first-team stars.
