EKO HOT BLOG reports that confirming the development, the ADC National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, said the party had reached another significant milestone in its preparations for the 2027 polls.
In a post on his verified X account, Abdullahi wrote:
“We are pleased to announce that we have successfully uploaded the names and particulars of the African Democratic Congress presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar (GCON), and our Vice Presidential Candidate, Rotimi Amaechi (CON), to the nomination portal of the @INECNigeria.
“This marks another important step in our preparations for the 2027 general election and our commitment to offer Nigerians a credible alternative built on competence, unity, and national renewal.”
Meanwhile, Amaechi has alleged that some Nigerian politicians steal election result sheets despite the risks faced by ad hoc staff of INEC during elections.
The former Rivers State governor made the claim while addressing a group of youths in a video circulating online, where he advised Nigerians on how to protect the integrity of their votes.
Amaechi alleged that many politicians place little value on the welfare of citizens and cautioned parents against allowing their children to serve as ad hoc electoral officials.

He also urged Nigerians to ensure that votes cast at polling units are counted transparently and promptly uploaded to the INEC portal in accordance with electoral procedures.
