In an official statement released by his spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the state executive emphasized that Kano’s strategic political weight would be fully leveraged to place the state at the forefront of the ruling party’s national success.
The governor stated that his administration strongly believes in the overarching leadership and transformative vision of the President, making it a collective responsibility to ensure that the state remains a secure stronghold for the party.
He reaffirmed that this electoral target is not restricted to the presidential ballot but extends to securing clean sweeps across the governorship, National Assembly, State Assembly, and local government council polls when the country returns to the polls.
To ensure total alignment within his ranks, Governor Yusuf issued a strict directive to all political officeholders, ordering any appointee who has yet to formalize their membership with the APC to initiate the electronic registration process immediately.
The governor emphasized that public service under his leadership requires an active political identity that aligns with the ruling party, noting that every official must be visible in building and consolidating the party’s grassroots foundation ahead of the 2027 campaigns.
He warned that holding an official position in the administration demands a reciprocal commitment to strengthening the structures of the party within their respective local wards.
As a tactical gesture of appreciation and motivation for the state’s media and administrative machinery, the governor used the platform to announce a major welfare intervention for his lower-tier aides.

He approved the immediate allocation of plots of land to over 300 political assistants, a beneficiary pool comprising Senior Special Assistants, Special Assistants, Senior Special Reporters, Special Reporters, and Personal Assistants.
In addition to the land allocations, Governor Yusuf authorized an immediate cash payout of N100,000 to each of the selected aides to support their welfare and encourage deeper dedication to the administration’s public communication goals.
The interactive session also featured strong declarations of solidarity from legislative and party leaders in the state.
The Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, Ismail Falgore, stated boldly that the ruling party owes no one an apology for aggressively marketing the concrete achievements of President Tinubu to the electorate, pointing out that citizens can easily match federal interventions with the local constituency projects being driven by Governor Yusuf.
Lending weight to this stance, the Kano APC Chairman, Umar Haruna Doguwa, announced that the party’s machinery is fully prepared for the upcoming political contests, stating confidently that the party is organized to counter rival political movements and secure a historic victory across the state.
