The Lagos State Development and Property Corporation (LSDPC) has handed over a renovated office complex and two operational vehicles to the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) Zone 25 as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the office, which serves the Bariga and Oworonshoki axis, was destroyed during the 2020 #EndSARS protests and had remained abandoned for several years.

Speaking during the handover ceremony, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of LSDPC, Ayodeji Joseph, said the reconstruction of the office and donation of the vehicles were aimed at strengthening LASTMA’s emergency response and traffic management operations.
Joseph, who was represented by the Executive Director, Business Development and Joint Venture, Mr. Derin Phillips, said the initiative reflects the corporation’s commitment to impactful corporate social responsibility and stronger collaboration among government agencies.

He noted that partnerships between public institutions are essential to improving service delivery and ensuring government agencies are well-equipped to meet the needs of Lagos residents.
Receiving the projects, the General Manager of LASTMA, Mr. Bakare-Oki Olalekan, expressed appreciation to LSDPC for the intervention.
He said the renovated office would provide a more conducive working environment for officers serving in the zone, while the additional operational vehicles would enhance the agency’s efficiency and improve response time to traffic incidents across the state.
