A Lagos-based entrepreneur, Adekoya Ibukunoluwa, has taken legal action against Sandra Edoho, the estranged wife of popular broadcaster Frank Edoho, demanding ₦100 million in damages over allegedly defamatory social media publications.
Eko Hot Blog reports that in a memorandum of claim dated July 17, 2026, signed by Festus Ogun, the Managing Partner of FOLEGAL, Adekoya accused Sandra of libel, fraudulent misrepresentation, and a severe breach of privacy.

The suit stems from various posts uploaded to Sandra’s business Instagram handle, “vivibella_designs,” which openly accused Adekoya of having an extramarital affair with Frank Edoho.
According to the legal documents, the interaction between Adekoya and Frank Edoho began purely by chance in October 2023 at the Hardrock Café in Lekki, Lagos.
The two reportedly struck up a conversation regarding their shared support for Arsenal Football Club and subsequently exchanged contact details.
However, the legal team alleged that on November 19, 2023, Sandra used her husband’s WhatsApp account to impersonate him, inviting Adekoya to the Edoho family residence in Victoria Garden City (VGC), Lagos, under the pretext of an official ₦10 million business invitation.
The memorandum further claims that Sandra, while posing as Frank’s brother, picked Adekoya up and drove her to the residence, where she was allegedly locked inside a room.
Upon waking up and realizing what had transpired, Frank Edoho reportedly expressed deep shock over his wife’s infidelity allegations and apologized to Adekoya for the hostile setup.
Adekoya’s lawyers asserted that following a major marital crisis between Frank and Sandra in May 2026, Sandra launched a calculated smear campaign online.
She allegedly leaked Adekoya’s photographs, private WhatsApp conversations, and recorded video clips on Instagram, falsely portraying her as a sex worker and a woman of questionable moral standing.
The legal document noted that these posts quickly went viral across several Nigerian blogs and entertainment platforms, subjecting the entrepreneur to intense cyberbullying, insults, and reputational damage.
Consequently, Adekoya is seeking a formal court declaration that the social media posts were malicious and defamatory.

In addition to the ₦100 million in damages, she is asking for an injunction to restrain Sandra from publishing similar materials and demands an unreserved public retraction.
As an alternative, the legal team proposed an out-of-court settlement conditions: Sandra must immediately delete the offensive publications, issue a public apology acknowledging that she impersonated Frank Edoho, and pay a concessionary ₦20 million in damages.
Sandra has been given a strict seven-day window to respond to the claims, failing which the case will be escalated to the Lagos State High Court.
