President Bola Tinubu has received an invitation from Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, to attend the 10th Future Investment Initiative (FII) scheduled for October in Riyadh.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the invitation was delivered on Friday by the Saudi Arabian Ambassador to Nigeria, Yousef Albalawi, during a meeting with the President at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

According to a statement shared by the Saudi Arabian Embassy in Nigeria on its X account, Ambassador Albalawi conveyed the invitation on behalf of the Crown Prince, inviting Tinubu to participate in the global investment forum.

President Tinubu thanked the Saudi leadership for the invitation and reaffirmed Nigeria’s commitment to strengthening its relationship with the Kingdom.
He also praised the growing cooperation between Nigeria and Saudi Arabia, noting that both countries continue to expand collaboration across several sectors.
The Future Investment Initiative, widely known as the “Davos in the Desert,” is Saudi Arabia’s flagship investment conference. Organised annually by the Future Investment Initiative Institute, the event brings together world leaders, investors, business executives, policymakers and innovators to discuss global investment opportunities and emerging economic trends.

The 10th edition of the summit, set for October 2026 in Riyadh, marks a decade since the initiative was launched as part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 economic diversification programme.
This year’s conference is expected to focus on key issues including artificial intelligence, digital transformation, energy transition, climate resilience, healthcare innovation, infrastructure development, advanced manufacturing and strategies for promoting sustainable economic growth.
