The motion for the total endorsement of President Tinubu, Governor Oborevwori, Senator Dafinone, and all other candidates fielded by the party across various elective offices was formally moved by the founding leader of the APC in Delta State, Chief O’tega Emerhor.
In his address, Chief Emerhor praised the vision, courage, and governance approach of both the President and the Governor, stressing that their economic policies, infrastructural investments, and developmental frameworks were already yielding tangible benefits for the people of Delta State and Nigeria at large.
The motion was subsequently seconded by former lawmaker Honorable Halims Agoda and put to a unanimous voice vote by the Delta State APC Chairman, Chief Solomon Arenyeka, receiving resounding approval from the assembled stakeholders.
Delivering a keynote address at the strategic gathering, the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Chief Festus Keyamo, urged party members to maintain unwavering loyalty and dedicate their energies toward securing total victory across all electoral tiers in 2027.
Minister Keyamo emphasized that candidate emergence followed transparent, democratic party processes, noting that internal competition must now give way to unyielding party cohesion.
He highlighted that President Tinubu’s landmark economic reforms were increasingly opening up federal revenues, attracting long-term infrastructural investments, creating sustainable employment opportunities, and setting the foundation for lasting poverty alleviation across the country.
The Delta State APC Chairman, Chief Solomon Arenyeka, explained that the strategic meeting in Effurun formed part of a state-wide tour across all three senatorial districts initiated by the State Working Committee.
According to Chief Arenyeka, the initiative is designed to review past activities, solidify existing structures, and ensure that every constituency enters the upcoming campaign cycle completely aligned.
He welcomed newly joined members and defectors from opposition parties, promising that everyone would be fully integrated with equal opportunities to contribute to the growth of the party.
Echoing similar sentiments, the APC Chairman for Delta Central Senatorial District, Chief Paulinus Akpeki, appealed to all aspirants who participated in previous primary elections to put personal disappointment aside and embrace the collective mandate.
He stated that the primary season was officially over, and the supreme focus of every genuine party loyalist must be winning the main elections.
Chief Akpeki called on members to heal old wounds, forgive past disagreements, and work together in harmony, pointing out that the future of the state and the party takes precedence over individual ambitions.
Speaking on behalf of women in the district, the Executive Director of Business Development at the Nigerian Export-Import Bank, Stella Okotete, assured the leadership that women and youths remain firmly behind the party.
She declared that Delta Central would mobilize aggressively to deliver no fewer than one million votes for the APC in the 2027 polls, while also advocating for continued inclusion and empowerment of women in government programs.
Furthermore, the Chairman of the Delta State chapter of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria, Isaiah Esiovwa, pledged that council chairmen and local government administrators would lead the campaign effort directly at the ward and unit levels to guarantee a decisive electoral victory.
