Following the recently concluded APC House of Representatives primary election in Epe Federal Constituency, Rep. Wale Raji has moved to foster unity within the party by extending a hand of fellowship to fellow aspirants and former challengers.

Eko Hot Blog reports that the move came on the heels of the APC Lagos East Senatorial District Reconciliation Committee’s engagement with stakeholders in Epe Local Government Area over the weekend.
The committee, led by Mr. Babatunde Ogala, SAN, OFR, commended the reconciliation efforts in Epe, scoring them 95 per cent and urging stakeholders to address the remaining “minor cracks” within the party.
In response to the committee’s charge, Rep. Wale Raji adopted a conciliatory approach, emphasising the importance of unity and inclusion among the aspirants and other party stakeholders.
He acknowledged that every aspirant had the right to contest and seek victory, stressing that the emergence of one candidate did not make the other contenders less important to the party.
“Everyone is entitled to win and in this kind of contest, someone will carry the party’s flag and we didn’t take it for granted. We are not better than the aspirants,” Raji said.
The lawmaker further assured the reconciliation committee of his commitment to bringing all stakeholders together ahead of the party’s future engagements.
“I want to assure you sir that we will do everything humanly possible to bring everybody on board. In fact, everybody is already on board and has keyed in,” he added.
The development signals a renewed focus on reconciliation and cooperation within the APC in Epe Federal Constituency following the conclusion of the primary election.
With the contest over, Rep. Wale Raji’s approach underscores the need for collective responsibility and unity as the party looks ahead to its future political activities.
