Billboard announced the latest achievement in a post on X, noting that ‘Dai Dai’ has also maintained its dominance on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart, where it has now spent eight consecutive weeks at the top.
The song was performed by Shakira and Burna Boy during the 2026 FIFA World Cup final between Spain and Argentina on July 19 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
According to Billboard, citing Luminate data, ‘Dai Dai’ generated 44.1 million streams and 6,000 sales worldwide between August 7 and 13.
Although the track retained the top position, its global streams declined by 10 per cent compared with the previous week, while sales dropped by nine per cent.
The song’s performance has remained particularly strong outside the United States. ‘Dai Dai’ held on to the No. 1 position on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart after recording 37.8 million streams and 4,000 sales during the same tracking period.
The collaboration has also continued to make an impact on American radio, reaching No. 3 on the Rhythmic Airplay chart as the week’s Greatest Gainer.

The sustained success further highlights Burna Boy’s growing global influence and Shakira’s enduring international appeal, with the pair maintaining strong commercial momentum weeks after their World Cup performance.
For Burna Boy, the achievement adds another major international milestone to his growing catalogue of global successes, while ‘Dai Dai’ continues to benefit from the worldwide attention generated by the FIFA World Cup.
