Earlier, Portable, in a video released on Tuesday, referred to himself as undergoing treatment at the Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Aro, Abeokuta, describing his situation as that of a “madman.”
Portable’s legal troubles stem from allegations of assaulting three officials from the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development—TPL Onabanjo Abidemi, TPL Raymond Lateef, and TPL Ridwan Oyero Akinlesi—during an enforcement exercise in Ota.
Following the incident, nine of his alleged accomplices were arrested and arraigned on charges including felony, assault, and conduct likely to cause a breach of peace. The suspects pleaded not guilty.
