In a statement issued on Tuesday, the command’s spokesperson, Eguavon Omokaro, said the men are being investigated for their alleged roles in organising and participating in protests held across various parts of Abia State.
According to the police, the demonstrations were linked to calls for the release of Nnamdi Kanu and advocacy efforts surrounding his ongoing legal case.

The command alleged that some of the protests disrupted public activities and affected peace and order in certain communities within the state.
Police authorities said intelligence reports and ongoing investigations identified the six men as prominent figures in the planning and coordination of the demonstrations.
The statement further alleged that the suspects, alongside other supporters, regularly participate in activities marking Biafra remembrance events, particularly those observed annually on May 30.
According to the police, several invitations were sent to the individuals to appear for questioning as part of the investigation. The invitations were reportedly issued on different occasions between December 2025 and March 2026.

The command claimed that none of the six men responded to the requests or presented themselves before investigators.
Following their alleged failure to honour the invitations, the police said they have now been formally declared wanted.
The command appealed to members of the public to provide information that could assist security agencies in locating the suspects, adding that useful intelligence leading to their arrest would be appreciated and treated accordingly.
