He noted that while he initially remained silent to reflect on the gravity of the call, the overwhelming support from the district eventually made his participation inevitable.

The move marks a clear political departure for the younger Atiku, who served in Governor Ahmadu Fintiri’s administration until the Governor’s recent switch to the ruling APC.
