The Tinubu-Hamzat Epe Division Solidarity Front (THEDSF) has continued its series of strategic consultations across Epe Division with a visit to the Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, as part of efforts to strengthen grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Eko Hot Blog reports that the delegation, led by the Director-General of THEDSF, Comrade Giwa Moshood Olasupo (G.M.O.), engaged the council chairman on strategies for youth mobilisation, voter education, economic development and building an effective grassroots structure capable of driving increased political participation across Epe Division.
Receiving the delegation, Hon. Anomo commended THEDSF for embarking on a strategic consultation with key stakeholders, describing the initiative as a demonstration of inclusiveness and proper political organisation.
He urged the group to remain focused on building a sustainable movement that extends beyond electioneering, noting that the objective should be to strengthen the All Progressives Congress (APC) through continuous grassroots engagement and community involvement.
According to him, the movement should not only mobilise support during elections but also establish structures that would continue to unite party members and contribute to the development of Epe Division.
“I commend your decision to consult critical stakeholders across Epe Division. It shows maturity and a willingness to build together. Let this movement go beyond winning elections by becoming a platform that strengthens the party and delivers meaningful value to our people,” Anomo said.
The council chairman also applauded THEDSF’s strategy of engaging different segments of the electorate beyond the party’s traditional support base, describing the approach as essential to achieving greater political participation and wider acceptance.
He assured the delegation of his support and encouraged members to remain committed to their vision.
Earlier, Comrade Giwa Moshood Olasupo said the visit formed part of the group’s ongoing consultations with political leaders and stakeholders ahead of its formal inauguration.
He explained that THEDSF was established to complement the efforts of the APC by strengthening grassroots mobilisation, promoting voter education and expanding political participation across Epe Division.
According to him, the movement has set an ambitious target of significantly improving the APC’s electoral performance in the 2027 general elections by doubling the 2023 voter turnout through the deployment of Polling Unit Volunteers (PUVs) across the 601 polling units in Epe Division.
“Our objective is to build a formidable grassroots structure that will complement the efforts of our leaders and ensure greater participation in the electoral process. We are mobilising Polling Unit Volunteers across all 601 polling units, and we are encouraged by the level of response we have recorded so far,” Giwa said.
He appreciated Hon. Anomo for his advice and encouragement, assuring him that THEDSF would continue working closely with political leaders and the five local government chairmen in Epe Division to strengthen the party’s grassroots structure.
Giwa reaffirmed the group’s commitment to mobilising support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Lagos State Deputy Governor Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat and all APC candidates in the 2027 general elections through peaceful engagement, strategic mobilisation and sustained stakeholder collaboration.
The meeting ended with a renewed commitment to unity, grassroots mobilisation and continuous consultation, as THEDSF reiterated its resolve to work with party leaders, community stakeholders and youth groups in advancing the development and political strength of Epe Division
