The political tempo in Eredo LCDA reached a vibrant peak on Saturday, July 5, 2025, as the All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairmanship candidate, Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye, alongside his running mate, Hon. Lateef Adesanya, commenced a robust ward-to-ward tour in preparation for the highly anticipated Lagos State Local Government Elections scheduled for July 12.

and proceeded to Ward J1 with Hon. Tunde Bakare Olowo, Ward K1 represented by Mr. Johnson Hammed Temitope, Ward L1 under Mrs. Abosede Mary Olusanya, and concluded at Ward M1, led by Hon. Sulaiman Adebola Odubanjo.
At each stop, the APC flag was ceremoniously handed over to the Councillorship candidates—a symbolic gesture marking the party’s trust and readiness to serve.
While addressing a crowd of enthusiastic party members and residents, Hon. Akinloye reaffirmed his dedication to an inclusive and people-focused administration.
“This next dispensation shall be a government of the people, by the people, and for the people,” he declared. “Our doors will remain open, as always, for every voice to be heard.”
Hon. Shakiru Adebanjo, speaking on behalf of the APC leadership, expressed strong optimism ahead of the polls. “Victory is not just certain,” he said. “It will come with resounding numbers across all wards in Eredo.”
