Leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have met in Lagos to reflect on recent party activities and outline the way forward, with discussions centring on the electronic membership registration exercise and preparations for upcoming party congresses.

Participants expressed satisfaction with the outcome of the Lagos West Senatorial District Leaders’ Caucus meeting held on Friday, 6 February 2026, at the official residence of the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly.
The caucus, chaired by Prince Rabiu Oluwa, agreed that party executive positions should be fairly allocated among all tendencies within the party, a decision widely acknowledged as a confidence-building step.
The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly received commendation for his continued loyalty and contributions to the party, including his support during the yuletide season, active participation in the APC e-registration exercise, and initiatives aimed at strengthening party structures across Lagos State.
The meeting ended on a note of reassurance, with leaders calling for calm engagement, inclusiveness and coordinated efforts among all stakeholders as preparations intensify toward the 2027 general elections.
