The President also extended an olive branch to political opponents and critics of his administration, saying his government remains open to dialogue and constructive engagement.
According to him, democracy should not be built on hostility or uniformity of opinion, but on diverse ideas driven by a common belief in national progress.
“To those who despise our philosophy, we offer dialogue and engagement, not anger, confident that the sincerity of our purpose and the result of our work will speak for themselves,” Tinubu said.
Speaking directly about his challenger, the President added humorously, “I owe you no grudge, including Osifo, who spent his money.”
Tinubu’s comments came shortly after he secured a landslide victory in the APC primary election, defeating Osifo by a wide margin to clinch the party’s presidential ticket ahead of the 2027 polls.
