The Lagos State All Progressives Congress (APC) Reconciliation Committee, under the stewardship of Dr. Lateef Ibirogba, today convened at the Epe Local Government Secretariat a strategic hub for Epe LG, Eredo LCDA, and Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA.

Dr. Ibirogba commenced the session with words of thanksgiving, acknowledging the blessings of Eid al-Adha. He described the setting as “calm, reflective, and brimming with faith.”
He then conveyed a directive from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, encouraging party faithful to maintain composure during this period of transition.
“God’s timing is perfect, and no one will be overlooked on this journey,” Dr. Ibirogba relayed.
Aspirants for both chairmanship and councillorship positions were given the floor to articulate their frustrations.
One aspirant admitted feeling “disheartened by unmet assurances,” while another noted “a burning desire to contribute meaningfully to Epe’s progress.”
In response, Dr. Ibirogba appealed for collective patience, reminding attendees that “true rewards originate from the Almighty, not from human pledges.
” He also clarified that “federal appointments are still pending,” urging aspirants to retain hope and focus on party unity.
Turning to the local government chairpersons, Princess Surah Animashaun (Epe LG), Hon. Monsuru Akinloye (Eredo LCDA), and Hon. Wale Raji Anomo (Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA), he charged them to govern with compassion and inclusivity.
