Asiwaju’s Final words on Ambode’s Impeachment move

The former Governor of Lagos State and the national leader of the All Progressive Party, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has said that the leaders of the party is seriously looking into the matter to examine the grievances.
Speaking this Sunday afternoon at a special GAC meeting to resolve the conflict between Governor Akinwunmi Ambode and Lagos House of Assembly, Asiwaju said that the two sides must continue to explore areas of communication and consensus.
“We have looked at the source of the conflict, which is normal in a democracy. We examined the grievances. As leaders we looked at all those areas and where there is need for compromise. In order to build institutions and encourage consensus between the two arms of government, there is no impeachment. The two sides must continue to explore areas of communication and consensus building.” He said
