FC Barcelona moved a step closer to the La Liga title with a hard fought 1-0 victory over Celta Vigo on Wednesday, but the win was overshadowed by an injury to Lamine Yamal.
The teenage forward scored the decisive goal from the penalty spot but appeared to suffer a hamstring problem during the process and was forced off before half time.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the result moved Barcelona nine points clear of Real Madrid at the top of the table with six matches remaining, including a crucial El Clasico scheduled for May 10.
Midfielder Pedri stressed the importance of the victory as the title race enters its final phase.
“We have to win every game and seal La Liga as soon as possible, it was important to win today,” he said.
He also expressed concern over Yamal’s injury, adding, “I hope it is for as few weeks as possible. Tomorrow he will be tested and we will see what it is.
“I wish him the best of luck, and he should stay calm. He is young and will surely recover well.”
Barcelona, managed by Hansi Flick, were playing their first match since their Champions League quarter final exit to Atletico Madrid and struggled to find rhythm in attack.
Goalkeeper Joan Garcia made key saves early in the game, denying Pablo Duran and Ferran Jutgla as the visitors threatened.

With chances limited, the breakthrough came through Yamal’s individual brilliance. The forward combined with Dani Olmo before being brought down in the penalty area by Yoel Lago.
He converted the resulting penalty with a composed low finish past Ionut Radu, who guessed correctly but could not keep it out.
