Bimbo Akintola Reveals Why She’s Single at 54
Veteran Nollywood actress Bimbo Akintola has opened up about her single status at 54, explaining the personal reasons behind it.
In a recent interview with her colleague Emmanuel Ehumadu, Akintola revealed that she remains unmarried because her soul mate has passed away. She described her deceased partner as the person she envisioned spending her life with.

During their conversation, the host asked, “Are you married?”
Host: “Are you married?”
Akintola: “No.”
Host: “Why?”
Akintola: “He died…The person wey me fit do forever for don die.”
Host: “So, you don’t think you can find another man?”
Akintola: “Do you know how long it took me to find him?”
The actress emphasised that she will not succumb to societal pressure to marry simply to satisfy others. While she affirmed her belief in the institution of marriage, she stated that she has yet to find the right man to settle down with since losing her soul mate.
