James Gunn’s Superman rakes in a grossing of N338.9 million in tickets sales in Nigeria cinemas nationwide.

According to Warner Bros, the movie has raked in over $503 million worldwide despite a slow start.
The data includes a $289.5 million accumulation domestically in the United States and Canada while declaring a $213.2 million grossing internationally.
The report indicates strong opposition from recently released Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four: First Steps which has earned a better weekend opening despite debuting weeks later.

Although, in the latest weekend rating, Gunn’s Superman managed to stay in the top releases of the year after it raked in a $24.8 million in North America and $19.8 million overseas.
With a $225 million budget, the movie has now arched in a threshold in profits if cinematic marketing amongst many other variables are excused.
According to reports, filming began in 2024 drawing inspirations from popular comic series.
Despite early concerns about the departure of fan favourite, Henry Cavill in the Superman franchise, results have garnered praises from fans and critics in recent weeks especially over David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan’s performance and chemistry.
