Dr Samuel Mawuyon Ajose, a 2027 Lagos State governorship aspirant, has on Tuesday stepped down from the race ahead of the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election.

Ajose announced his withdrawal today, declaring his support for Lagos State Deputy Governor, Dr Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, as his preferred candidate for the governorship ticket.
